Statistics tab

This tab is shown in Progress and Statistics window and displays the global statistics on Ad Annihilator activity on your computer collected since the moment of first installation. Using information from Statistics tab you are able to assess how effectively Ad Annihilator serves you and feel the benefits Ad Annihilator provided to you so far.

Following information is displayed:

• "Saved" - time and traffic volume Ad Annihilator saved for you since the moment of the first installation due to offline browsing. • "Blocked items" - number of various items Ad Annihilator blocked so far:
  • "Popups" - number of blocked popups. See How to block popups? for information on popup blocking;
  • "'Banners" - number of blocked banners. See How to block banners? for information on banner blocking;
  • "Cookies" - number of blocked cookies. See How to block cookies? for information on cookie blocking ;
• "Cookies" - number of cookies sent or received (not blocked):
  • "Received" - number of cookies received;
  • "Sent" - number of cookies sent;
• "Traffic" - information about your Internet traffic, i.e. how much information you retrieved from Internet or cache:
  • "From Internet" - number of resources and documents received from Internet and their total size shown in brackets;
  • "From cache" - number of resources and documents retrieved from cache while browsing offline and their total size shown in brackets. The size value corresponds to the traffic saved by Ad Annihilator. See Understanding offline browsing for more information on offline browsing and how it saves your time and traffic;
  • "Resumed" - number of resources and documents which downloading was interrupted and then resumed by Ad Annihilator from the point it was broken at. Download resuming is possible only when "Store partially retrieved documents and resources" option in Cache control tab is on.
