Resources tab
This tab shows a list of documents or document resources. Document resources
are objects that are downloaded altogether with documents and are normally
required for normal document operation. They include pictures, scripts,
stylesheets, Flash animations, objects and so on. In Resources tab you may
analyze document structure.
This tab can be opened in following ways:
-
To see the list of resources for the currently selected
document in Documents tab, click "Show search
results" button on Ad Annihilator toolbar.
If no document is selected in Documents tab, the
list is empty;
-
To see the list of resources for the document which
properties are shown in Document
properties window, click "Open resource list" button in
Document properties window;
-
To see the list of resources for several documents, select
them in Documents tab, right-click your selection
and choose "Open resource list" from the context menu;
-
To see the list of documents from several sites rather than resources, select sites and documents in
Documents tab, right-click your selection and choose "Open document list"
from the context menu;
When you change the current document in
Documents tab, Resources tab will reflect the
change and show the resource list for the newly selected document. In other
words, Resources tab list is synchronized with selection in
Documents tab.
List structure
On the following picture there are two documents (CNET_com and Log in) with their resources.
Documents are shown above their resources and shifted to the left of them. On
contrary, resources are shown under the documents they belong to and with
indentation in the list.

You may change this default document and resource order clicking on the name
of the column that you wish to sort the list by. To open the currently selected
document or resource in the current browser, double-click it.
There are following columns displayed:
-
"Title" - document title if it exists or document or
resource file name otherwise;
-
"Size" - size of the document or resource in bytes. For the
document this figure reflects only document file size without contained
resources. To view the full size of the document open
Document properties window using
"Properties" button on Resources tab toolbar;
-
"Type" - document content type. See "Content type is" field
description in Banner filters tab
in Banner filter item
properties for more information on content type;
-
"Version" - the same field as in
Document properties window;
-
"Download date" - the same field as in
Document properties window;
-
"Last modified" - the date and time when the document was
last modified on the web server. This field value is reported by the web site
and can be empty if no modification date was reported;
-
"Expires" - the date at which document content expires as
reported by the web server. See
Understanding browsing modes to learn more about document expiration
information;
-
"Number" - ordinal number of the document or resource as it
was retrieved from the cache.
Initially, the list is sorted by this column. When you sort the list by
another column, the initial document and resource order is lost. As a result,
it is impossible to tell which resources belong to which documents as this
relation is determined by mutual location of documents and resources in the
list as was set out above. To restore initial sorting order, simply click on
this column name.
