Popup filters tab

This tab is shown in Filters window and allows you to setup popup filters. See Understanding popup filters for background information on popup filters. See How to block popups? and How to unblock popups? to learn more about popup blocking and unblocking and other ways of popup filters management.

See Understanding popup filters for interpretation of popup filters window look. To expand or collapse a filter or a host click small plus or minus sign near its name. To view filter properties in Popup filter item properties window or host properties in Host properties window double-click it. To select filters and hosts use the same technique as for Documents tab.

Popup filters tab toolbar

The Popup filters tab toolbar is shown at the top of the Popup filters tab:

Buttons available on the toolbar are listed below.

Following buttons do similar actions for popup filters as similar buttons on Banner filters tab toolbar:

• "New filter". The only distinction from banner filters is opening of Popup filter item properties window;

• "New host";

• "Delete";

• "Increase priority";

• "Decrease priority";

• "Properties". The only distinction from banner filters is opening of Popup filter item properties window;

• "Enable/disable filters".

This button is specific to Popup filters tab:

• "Block this popup" - blocks the popup currently opened in this browser window for future browsing by adding it to the filters. See How to block popups? to learn about other ways to block popups.

Popup filters tab context menu

Popup tab context menu is shown when you right-click a filter or a host in the Popup filters tab:

Use Popup filters tab context menu to perform filter- or host-specific operations. This menu options do similar actions for popup filters as similar options in Banner filters tab context menu:

• "New filter". The only distinction from banner filters is opening of Popup filter item properties window;

• "New host";

• "Enable/disable filters";

• "Enable filter node";

• "Sort by"

• "Increase priority";

• "Decrease priority";

• "Cut";

• "Copy";

• "Paste";

• "Delete";

• "Properties". The only distinction from banner filters is opening of Popup filter item properties window.
