How to unblock popups?By default Ad Annihilator blocks all popups. When a popup is blocked, Ad Annihilator shows a small temporary window near Ad Annihilator toolbar with a hint telling "Popup disabled" like this:
This window provides visual hint when a popup is blocked to warn you about presence of blocked popups. You may setup audible hint as well in Popup killer tab of Ad Annihilator Options window. However, sometimes it is needed to enable certain popups or open an already blocked popup. Ad Annihilator offers several ways to do this. Temporary enabling of popupsTo enable a popup temporarily simply press Shift key. All popups that try to open while you press Shift key are allowed to appear. You may use this to enable certain popups temporarily when you want to open them only at this time. After you release Shift key, popups are blocked as usual. Opening of already blocked popupsThere are two ways to open a popup after it was blocked:
Note that next time this popup tries to open, it will be blocked again. To avoid this you must also enable the popup window either before you open the blocked popup or after opening. These methods are described below. Opening and enabling of already blocked popupsThe ways to open and enable a popup after it was blocked are very similar:
After this operation the blocked popup is enabled for opening at future browsing. This way popups that you deem useful avoid blocking. To open a blocked popup after this use methods set out above. Enabling of blocked but opened popupsAfter you opened a blocked popup manually using guidelines set out above, you may wish to enable this popup for future browsing so that it is never blocked by Ad Annihilator. There are three basic ways to enable a blocked but opened popup:
