How to manage projects?

This section details Ad Annihilator project-related tasks. For background information on Ad Annihilator projects see Understanding projects. Project-related tasks are accomplished either from Ad Annihilator toolbar or Project tab of Ad Annihilator Options window.

Project creation

You have two ways to create an Ad Annihilator project:

• Using Project management button on Ad Annihilator toolbar. Click this button and select "New project...";

• Using Project tab of Ad Annihilator Options window. Click "Create new..." button.

In both cases you are prompted for the location and name of Ad Annihilator project file and then Ad Annihilator Project Wizard is launched to help you configure the project.

After project creation, it is automatically opened and Ad Annihilator is enabled if it was disabled earlier.

Project opening

You have two ways to open an Ad Annihilator project:

• Using Project management button on Ad Annihilator toolbar. Click this button and select the project you want to open from recently opened projects list or, if you don't see it there, select "Open project..." and find the project file on the disk;

• Using Project tab of Ad Annihilator Options window. Select the project you want to open from recently opened projects list or, if you don't see it there, click "Open from disk..." button and select the project file from disk.

After project opening Ad Annihilator is automatically enabled if it was disabled earlier.

Project closing

You have two ways to close an Ad Annihilator project:

• Using Project management button on Ad Annihilator toolbar. Click this button and select "Close project";

• Using Project tab of Ad Annihilator Options window. Click "Close project" button.

After project closing Ad Annihilator is automatically disabled.

Project deletion

To delete a project open Project tab of Ad Annihilator Options window, select a project from the list and click Delete project. If you don't see the project you want to delete there, you need to open it first.

Note that project deletion deletes all its cached documents, banner, popup and cookie filters and organizer links permanently so use this command with care!
