Host properties window

This window shows properties of a single host node in banner or popup filters. It is used both for entry of new host nodes and for editing them. See Understanding banner filters and Understanding popup filters for background information on banner and popup filters.

This window is opened from Banner filters tab or Popup filters tab when entering a new host node or editing a host node.

Following fields are available:

• "Process documents from this host only" - host address mask. A browsed document address should match host address mask in order to make its resources be processed by this host folder. See Understanding masks for information on mask syntax;

• "Apply to subdomains as well" - this option is similar to "Apply to subdomains as well" option in Banner filter item properties window;

• "Block third-party resources" - when checked, all third-party resources are blocked when browsing documents matching this folder. This option allows third-party resources blocking on per-site basis. See Understanding banner filters for more information;

• "Enabled" - similar to "Enabled" option in Banner filter item properties window.

A document is considered matching a host folder node if document host address matches host mask (with regard to "Apply to subdomains as well" field). When document matches the host, further filter processing continues in that folder branch only; the filters in that host folder are evaluated from top to bottom. Otherwise, it is considered that the document does not match the filter. See Understanding banner filters and Understanding popup filters for more information on filters processing.

To save the changes you made in this window click OK button, to discard them - click Cancel button.
